About Me

A graduate of British/American Studies and Journalism at Sofia University, I cut my teeth as a journalist in the English-language online news environment.

Before starting to work as a freelance journalist and fixer, I was the long-time editor-in-chief of Bulgaria's biggest news provider in English – Sofia News Agency (www.novinite.com). I also spent a two-year stint as editor at the Bulgarian National Radio.

My articles have been cited by numerous publications and media outlets such as The Financial Times, Handelsblatt, BBC, The Australian, Polskie Radio, Romanian business TV channel "The Money Channel", Radio Romania.

I took part in Bulgaria's media community first Code of Ethics, a project managed by BBC World Service Trust, London.

I completed successfully training on news management and online media, organized by the BBC World Service Trust, London and International Institute for Journalism of InWEnt Capacity Building International, Germany.
